Excellent capture. The fact that the whole sword is in the frame makes it even more beautiful. I don't know why but that was the first thing that got my attention. If the tip of the sword was out of the frame (even if slightly), it would have been distracting. So it's very well done. I can't seem to find any flaws in this photo. It deserves a DD.
Owl at home is, simply, very difficult. I just can tell from Galya's experience, you need to care a lot about the bird. And clean after it a lot too. Galya works with animals like, a lot so she is used to it but it's kinda 100% occupation alone
But how was it like to use Senya in a photoshoot? I see they are not that active animals like cats (they are just impossible to work with, no cooperation at all), especially in daylight, but still...it must have been difficult. The first photo looks like it was shot in the dusk, but it could be the editing. I can't really tell. So, was it the daylight or did you drug the poor little owl?
Usually animals do not follow any command and tend to behave as they like. She was not so active but sometimes tried to spread wings, move somewhere or fly away. I do not think this owl has problems with daylight, Galya brings her out a lot. And it was midday all the time.
